Sophie’s story
Sophie has been working professionally as a Journalist since 2015, whilst also having opportunities to write poetry, short stories and theatrical pieces
But no matter what she’s working on, she always keep’s her ethos in mind.
Storytelling for social change is Sophie’s passion, as she firmly believes it has the power to transform lives and to fight injustices. Therefore she is an advocate for the arts and culture.
Being an avid consumer of literature, tv and theatre, Sophie has noticed the difference, the arts can make, to relieve societal pressures. As well as there ability to enhance freedom of expression, whereby allowing individuals to thrive.
Sophie is particularly interested in women’s stories and how their voices are heard.
